IHRAM.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Wiranto said the flag bearing tawheed (Laa Ilaha Ilallah, the oneness of God) sentence, which was identical to former Islamic mass organization Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) appeared in several regions in Indonesia, during National Santri Day on Monday (Oct 22). According to Wiranto, the securing process of the flag was carried out in an orderly manner, except in Garut, West Java.

“The incident of the flag burning happens because the flag contains tawheed sentence in HTI’s flag, where the organization has been disbanded by government,” said Wiranto on Tuesday (Oct 23).
